We know, intellectually, that we want things to be different. And yet something keeps pulling us back.
That something lives in the subconscious mind. And that is exactly where hypnotherapy works.
What Is Clinical Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy uses a guided state of deep relaxation, known as trance, to access the subconscious mind, where so much of our behaviour, belief and emotional experience originates.
In everyday life, our conscious mind works hard to keep us functioning – managing, analysing, protecting. But it is the subconscious that holds our deeper patterns, our earliest experiences, and the beliefs we formed about ourselves long before we had the words for them. Hypnotherapy creates the conditions to gently work with that deeper layer – and to begin to change it.
This is not the hypnosis of stage shows. You remain aware, in control, and able to bring yourself out of the relaxed state at any time. Most people find it a deeply restful and often surprisingly profound experience.

Each session begins with a conversation. The work itself is guided by what you need most — and it is always done with care, at your pace.
